Rotary brings together a global network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and talent to tackle the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Rotary connects 1.2 million members from more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Their work impacts lives at both the local and international levels. Official members of the Rotary’s: Elmsford Chapter–District 7320, are a dedicated and diverse team of community leaders who share a passion for supporting their local community, and those who defend it. Since the summer of 2015, the Elmsford Rotary Club has granted Veterans Rebuilding Life the honor of selecting worthy veterans seeking higher education, to be the recipients of the Rotary’s Annual Scholarship Fund. The award provides direct impact, financial assistance to support the accredited educational program selected by the scholarships recipient. On Friday, June 15th, 2017 – the Elmsford chapter held their annual luncheon at the Tarrytown Hilton in New York, to announce and celebrate this years scholarship winners, including members of veterans rebuilding Life for the third year in a row.
The international service organization is comprised of community leaders whose motto: Service Above Self, defines their humanitarian mission: the advancement of international goodwill. Since the summer of 2015, the Rotary Elmsford Chapter has granted Veterans Rebuilding Life with the honor of selecting a worthy veterans who are seeking higher education, to be the recipients of the Rotary’s Annual Scholarship Fund. This award financially supports any accredited training or educational program chosen by the recipient, with no strings attached.
