In partnership with Riptide Athletics, Veterans Rebuilding Life is honored to launch our second inaugural Youth Athletic Scholarship Program, a community based initiative developed by VRL member and Marine Corps veteran: Bill Vallely, to recognize and support remarkable children from the local community. This scholarship is more than just financial assistance, it’s an investment in our future leaders.

Thanks to support provided by the Bronxville Rotary Club, two deserving children participating in flag football will each receive a $5,000 scholarship. Recipients are selected by their peers, in recognition of their outstanding achievements and character. Through this program, the playing field becomes more than a place for competition, it’s an environment where a child’s values are shaped through mentorship, discipline, and teamwork.

The Scholarship Program covers uniform and equipment costs to ensure all children may participate, regardless of their financial background.

For parents, it means knowing their child is part of a supportive community that provides guidance and encouragement both on and off the field. For the community, it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping a child access opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. Veterans understand what it means to serve a purpose greater than themselves.

Through this partnership with Riptide Athletics, Veterans Rebuilding Life continues that mission by investing in the next generation of leaders, ensuring that the children of those who serve never stand alone. Together as a community, we can empower kids to grow stronger, dream bigger, and become the confident and capable leaders of tomorrow.
