Through collaboration and community engagement, we help families meet urgent needs, recover and rebuild their lives, at home, and around the world.
GAZA MISSION
Direct Food Aid for Orphaned Children
Veterans Rebuilding Life partnered with the American nonprofit: Every Pregnancy to deliver direct food-aid, clean drinking water, and urgent medical care to orphaned children living in displacement camps across Gaza. The camps are densely packed with makeshift tents sheltering thousands of malnourished orphans who lost their entire families to genocide. More than 74,000 children under the age of five have been medically diagnosed with acute malnutrition in Gaza.
Known as Orphan Cities, the camp’s supply of food, clean drinking water, and medical supplies, are all donated by international organizations. The donated supplies are distributed by humanitarian volunteers who risk their lives each day to keep the children’s camps operational. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirms over 650 humanitarian workers have been killed in Gaza.
Veterans Rebuilding Life raised $20,000 to support this mission collaboration. One hundred percent of the funds were dedicated to delivering food, clean drinking water, and emergency medical care to hundreds of displaced children.
