The Sons of Pericles visited the Veterans Rebuilding Life headquarters in Astoria, Queens, where members of the Greek-American philanthropic organization presented a generous contribution to support VRL’s humanitarian mission. The Sons of Pericles is committed to preserving Hellenic heritage through civic engagement and community service. Supporting a local organization like Veterans Rebuilding Life was especially meaningful for the Sons, who emphasized the importance of giving back to their community.
“Being able to meet with VRL was especially meaningful, their organization is unlike any other, said Pierratos. This donation reflects the AHEPA’s commitment to philanthropy, but more so our commitment as Americans to the people who protect us and our rights.” The Sons plan to continue similar initiatives to strengthen ties between local youth, veterans, and the broader Queens community.
