COLLISION TRAINING INSTITUTE
Training and Employment Program
The Collision Training Institute (CTI), has a dual-mission focus: to support the staffing needs of the automotive industry, by training vets to qualify for available employment positions.
CTI was established by successful veteran entrepreneurs from the tristate area, who operate their own small businesses.
Train 1-on-1 With Industry Professionals
CTI candidates not only receive the professional training and certifications necessary for employment in the automotive industry, they also receive priority job placement through partnering employers. Upon completion of the programs first phase, CTI candidates will begin the on-job-training (OJT) portion of the program, at a CTI partner company. Candidates are assigned a professional mentor (or Journeyman), who provides individualized instruction for the duration of their OJT requirement.
Priority Job Placement
Upon completion of their on-job training, candidates will be offered a full-time position with the same company. Participating employers are required to meet the quality standards established by CTI, in order to guarantee each veteran candidate secures a quality employment position, upon successful completion of their training. All employment positions must provide CTI candidates with a competitive starting salary, based on the current cost of living, for veterans who reside in the tristate area.
Enforced Quality Standards
Failure to meet the quality standards established by CTI, violates the agreement by-and-between Collision Training Institute, and the participating employer, resulting in termination of the partnership agreement. In such an event, CTI personnel prioritize employment relocation for the veteran candidate, at an alternative company from the tristate area, that meets the employment standards established for CTI veterans.
