This privacy notice discloses the online practices conducted by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization: Veterans Rebuilding Life® (VRL®). This policy specifically addresses the organization’s official website: VeteransRebuildingLife.org, (vrlnyc.org) and all associated digital media platforms belonging to VRL®. All information and imagery available on this website, is protected under the digital security policies established to ensure the safety and security of your personal information. VRL does not: collect, archive, distribute, or sell any personally identifiable information or imagery, whatsoever. There are no exceptions to this policy.

DIGITAL SECURITY MEASURES

To access VRL services, online viewers must complete a single-page registration form, that requires basic contact information, used only to respond to your inquiry. Online transactions require basic payment information to complete your order. This information is automatically deleted upon completion of your transaction. All shipping is managed by the U.S. Postal Service, under the protection of the U.S. Federal Government. All credit and debit card transactions are digitally encrypted through a secure channel, monitored by authorized PayPal® security-personnel, 24 hours a day–7 days a week. Neither institution (Paypal® or VRL®) retain or share any personally identifiable data–without exception. All VRL® online media platforms are malware-scanned for security vulnerabilities, on a weekly basis. Authorized personnel ensure data-confidentiality through the strategic implementation of digital security measures taken during each interaction between online viewers and this website. U.S. FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION

The FTC enforces COPPA; the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, which outlines the legal requirements all web-operators must enforce to protect children’s online-privacy and safety. VRL® proactively enforces COPPA through the daily implementation of strategic security measures aimed at ensuring all VRL® online media platforms enforce a strict age-restriction policy, limiting online user access to persons over the age of 18.
