Bayonne Bombers Event
The Bayonne Bombers, a rugby football club, competing in Division II, of the Empire Rugby Football Union – sponsored the Fifth Annual Belgian Beer Event, held in-support of Veterans Rebuilding Life. This year’s open-bar summer event was hosted by the Irish establishment; McSwiggan’s Pub, located in Hoboken, New Jersey. Seen in the photo above-left, is VRL member Damia December, announcing the winning raffle ticket numbers, during this year’s successful fundraising event.
As with all VRL events, one hundred percent of the proceeds directly supports the mission. This year’s humanitarian-focus, is on the successful launch of a new veterans program: Collision Training Institute (CTI) a training and employment initiative, developed by veterans now thriving in New York’s automotive industry. To date, CTI is the only full-scope reintegration program, developed exclusively for veterans – by veterans.
Special thanks to the Bayonne Bomber club members: Tim Skennion, and Mark Bishop, whose longtime support of Veterans Rebuilding Life, has resulted in the repeat success of this annual summer event – five years in a row, and counting. And thank you to everyone who came out to support us and made this fifth annual Belgian Beer Night such a blast, we’ll see you at the next event!
